Our main message is "Don't let your campfire become a bushfire this summer." The aim is to educate people about what they can and can't do with the hope of reducing the number of bushfires that start from campfires. Campfire negligence is a huge issue for us - causing over 10% of bushfires every year. This places the community and our firefighters at risk, along with damaging the environment, and impacting industry and recreational users. It is largely a social media campaign with links to our launch posts below: You can access other information via this link below which includes a poster, brochure (English and translated versions), social media banners, graphics and media release: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ uiugso2jsuftlea/AAAk1kegaM0_ 9Hh2JQo0REpua?dl=0 |
