Message from Forest Fire Management Victoria

This summer Forest Fire Management Victoria is running a community awareness campaign about campfire safety. 

Our main message is "Don't let your campfire become a bushfire this summer." The aim is to educate people about what they can and can't do with the hope of reducing the number of bushfires that start from campfires. 

Campfire negligence is a huge issue for us - causing over 10% of bushfires every year. This places the community and our firefighters at risk, along with damaging the environment, and impacting industry and recreational users. 

It is largely a social media campaign with links to our launch posts below:
